Caller: BD or BB or DB Attorneys (unclear)

The person claimed to be from an attorney firm and told me that I owed money on a Nedbank credit card. When I told them I've never banked there, then suddenly it was an Ackermans account. The last time I had one of those was more than 10 years ago, so I asked if there was anything outstanding from that long ago why they were only contacting me now. She told me they had taken judgement and wanted all my contact details so they could send me proof of this. I told her I didn't believe her, as I check my credit record and if they wanted to proceed they should do so in Court. She then became aggressive and abusive, not allowing me to get a word in, so I eventually just ended the call. If a firm like this calls you, don't trust any documents they offer to provide, don't give them any information and, most importantly, don't acknowledge anything. They are probably trying to collect prescribed debt and this is unlawful. Insist that they proceed in Court and submit their documents there for verification of authenticity.

I called back number 010 110 0083 spoke to a guy but did not hear him properly when he said the company name.
